eXeTeL HSPA and Mobile
Still very happy with the move to eXeTeL HSPA and mobile plan.
Compared to the previous Telstra service the savings are significant - really significant - and the service is great.
Phone works as good as the previous provider and cheaper by between $30 to $80 per month.
Wireless broad band usage is billed pay as you go so if not used no charge and there is no noticeable difference in speed although testing revealed the eXeTeL to be quicker.
Other top marks to eXeTeL over Telstra is that eXeTel don’t want customers to phone them if there is a problem, question or service request.
No this is not as it sounds.
Have you ever tried contacting Telstra via an email form on their website about your service after giving up waiting on hold to speak to some one in Telstra? If so you will have found that a few days later you get an email apologising that nothing can be done via email and you have to phone them. Clever Phone Company.
Then when you do phone up you find yourself giving personal information such as driver licence numbers etc to some one who has not indentified themselves to you at all!
Which provider is wide open for identity fraud? The one who at the very most risks having customers internet connection tampered with or the one whose staff ask for verbal information could contribute to taking over another persons identity?
Telstra, thank you for wasting countless hours of my time, because it finally reached the point where out of frustration I have moved and now are not only saving heaps of time but am also saving a decent amount of cash compared to what we used to pay Telstra each month, and we still have an equal or arguably better service.
